Bogd Khan Mountain National Park
It is oldest national park in the World and was proclaimed as national park in 1778. Famous for wildlife viewing, Bogd Khaan Mountain National Park offers mountain hiking experiences.
We are pleased to offer a popular Bogd Khaan Mountain Park Hiking trip just outside the Park entrance, and many people visiting Bogd Khaan National Park sample the back country. Try hiking, where you are dropped off after a 50 minute car drive in the Mongolian wilderness. There you and your guide will spend a few hours interpreting the flora and fauna of the area and possibly view wildlife in its natural habitat. Or try Mongolia hiking unguided were you can explore mountains, swift rivers, wildflowers, and wildlife. There are literally several of cross-mountain hiking possibilities in the park’s back country. A few shorter trails exist in the front country near the park entrance.
