Day2. Choir Mountain – energy center
After breakfast time, we will drive to Tsoorkhoi Spring (10 km on the dirt road). Tsorkhoi Spring is very cold in summer but does not freeze in winter. It has an unusual feature. This spring is good for human internal organs, and local people have been drinking it. Then we will drive to White Tara Goddess (10 km on the dirt road). The White Goddess was carved on the rock, 245 cm high and 170 cm wide, at the site of the Tsogchin dugana of East Choir monastery in Borjigon region. In 1828, a typhus disease spread around Choir Monastery, killing monks and ordinary people. Therefore, the local people who sought a way to suppress this disease created the Longevity Goddess White Goddess on a granite rock, and there was no more typhoid fever. Then we will drive to Choir Bogd Mountain. There, we will see Single Monk Cave, Child Ovoo respectively. Also, we will hike around and enjoy rocky view. Then we will drive to Camel Caravan Statues. The caravan from Beijing to Da-Khure, the capital of Mongolia, passed through it, and the tea route was one of the important arteries of thousands of kilometers of roads connecting Asia and Europe.
