Therefore, sometimes it is better to go directly to Gobi without wasting time on the congested road to Ulaanbaatar. Our company can pick you up from your international flight and drive you directly to Gobi Desert by private car to start your journey. Also, Khongor Sand Dune is too far for a 3-day trip, so it is not included in this program.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day1. Baga Gazar Rock
We will pick you up from the airport & drive to Baga Gazar Rock (230 km – 3 hours on the paved road). We will do some hiking around the site. Overnight in the tourist ger camp. /D/
Day2. Yol Gorge & Bayanzag
After breakfast time, we will drive to Yol Gorge (430 km – 6 hours on the paved road). Yol means vulture in Mongolian and the gorge is located in Gurvan Saikhan Mountain range & stretches over 10 km. The narrowest part, only 3 or 4 people can pass at the same time, of the valley is completely shaded from the direct sunlight by high cliff walls. Also, the valley is famous for the fact that there is ice created in winter by a small stream of the valley present there even during the hot summer months until mid of Jul. We will do an hour hiking there & then also visit the small natural museum. Then we will go to the Bayanzag (100 km – 2 hours on the dirt road). American zoologist Roy Chapman Andrews discovered this place and named it Flaming Cliffs. A lot of dinosaurs’ findings such as Protoceratops & dinosaur eggs have been found there for the first time. We will walk around the site. Overnight in the local ger guesthouse. /B,L,D/

Day3. Moltsog Sands & Tsagaan Suvarga Cliff
After breakfast time, we will drive to the Moltsog Sand (30 km – 1 hour on the dirt road). It is a smaller sand dune near to the Bayanzag. Then go to the Tsagaan Suvarga Cliff (200 km – 4 hours mostly on the paved road). It is a high cliff in color. Then we will drive to the Mandalgobi town (190 km – 3 hours on the paved road). Overnight in the local hotel. /B,L,D/
Day4. Back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast time, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar (300 km – 4 hours on the paved road). After you arrive in the city, we will transfer you to your accommodation. /B/
